Hello and welcome to my website! I am a currently a third-year PhD student in Public Policy at American University.

I'm a quantitative policy scholar specializing in local and state government, with a particular emphasis on affordable housing issues. My work is interdisciplinary, drawing upon elements of public administration, political science, economics, and sociology to help further our understanding of the role localities play in promoting access to affordable, high-quality housing for people of all socioeconomic backgrounds. 

My current research explores the political and economic impacts of local rent control laws in California. I am also a researcher at the Metropolitan Policy Center here at AU, as well as a County Landscapes Research Fellow at the National Association of Counties (NaCo). 

A Southern California native, I currently live in Washington, DC with my cat Cookie. In my free time I enjoy jamming on my bass, spending time outdoors, and exploring DC's many free museums and cultural attractions!
