Hello and welcome to my website! I am a currently a PhD candidate in Public Policy at American University.

I'm a quantitative policy scholar specializing in local and state-level housing policy and politics. My work is interdisciplinary, drawing upon elements of public administration, political science, economics, and sociology to help further our understanding of the role localities play in promoting access to affordable, high-quality housing for people of all socioeconomic backgrounds. 

My current research explores the political and economic impacts of local rent control laws in California. I am also a researcher at the Metropolitan Policy Center here at AU and hold a Research Fellowship with the National Association of Counties (NACo). 

A Southern California native, I currently live in Washington, DC with my cat Cookie. In my free time I enjoy jamming on my bass guitar, swimming, shooting hoops, and exploring DC's many free museums and cultural attractions!
